My World

Cold, damp, and lonely here,
surrounded by all my fear,
I want to wake from this dream,
But so far nothing but pain and longing,
I wish you could see me,
See the tears in my eyes,
Hold me close while i cry,
Make me happy with your face,
Make me forget this awful world,
My world of sadness,
Take me in your arms and kiss me,
Hold me close and never let go,
But your love, I can never know,
You see me here fighting for breath,
But all you do is look and pass,
Like I'm a ghost unseen and unheard,
I'm screaming can't you hear me,
Can you see the fear in my eyes,
My world is closing in around me,
Proctecting me from my fear,
My fear of losing you forever,
I'm losing you but can't stop it,
Can't move, can't breathe, can't feel,
All I see is you .... leaving my world behind
