Immortal Love

I know your many secrets
So easy to be read
With a smile whose equal is few

You say so much
When you think I don't see
Yet my eyes never stray so far from you

No one can be perfect
Disregard what friends say
Rather follow your heart to the truth

A truth to a riddle
Where questions often stray
That this love bore perfection to you

Feeling fading moments
In a time unable to last
We wonder what is left to choose

The beauty in this question
Is left completely to chance
Would we do it if we knew?

Fancy all the wonders
These humble eyes have seen
In time I'll share them with you

In love, we're immortal
Untouched by the sands
Where dominion of death is subdued
