All
alone
in this world of mine;
broken thoughts
from a broken mind;
a stone heart from cold time;
thick skin through old wounds;
absent relatives asleep in tombs,
and again alone without a friend.
Forever and always until the end,
I need some light
to see through the gloom.
It’s dark in this place.
Blind to what’s in front of me.
Oblivious to what surrounds me;
a tainted light which is truly bright.
But through this blur,
where do I stand?
I need some knowledge to understand
what’s laid at my feet
and given to my hand.
