Someone’s mother,
Someone’s father,
Someone’s brother,
Someone’s daughter;
In the dark,
In the light,
Swarm of colors,
Swarm of flight.
In the subway,
In the street
In the plane
Now let’s fleet.
In school
On TV,
Looking up
Then you see,
Tears in eyes
Screams in mouths,
Looking up,
Looking down.
Seeing death
All around
Seeing fire,
Seeing blood
Seeing lives
Come to ends.
Trapped in dark,
With your friends,
Covered in scrapes
And bends.
In the office,
Under the desk,
Hear a boom…
Then a crash.
Look next door
To number two,
First Tower,
Now collapsed.
Scared as heck,
Almost there,
Work to be done,
But no one cares.
running nowhere
in the smoke
pain in arm
it is broke
news reporter
risking life
to get a story
done right
cloud of smoke
black as death
pain and suffering
to my left
go to work
like any other
make a joke
then another
look to my right
somthing coming
coming at ya
scream ya heart out
like that will help ya
three year old
went to day care
went to day care in the towers
mommy on the lower floor
mommy made it
dare i say more
all this hatred
put together
brings america
to love each other
