Super Model

I skipped lunch today
so that I could buy a smaller shirt.
I missed track practice today
it just wasn't in me.
My best friend is the mirror
and my worst enemy is stretch jeans.
A size ten just isn't enough
to make heads turn.
Less is more,
if you know what I mean.
But deep inside,
I feel alright.
One day this will all pay off.
Because though I'm upset now,
in a couple of years I won't be.
Walking down DV's runway
or maybe even Mr.Armani
if I try hard enough.
This is a dream that I want to
make a reality.
Going to parties,
seeing stars at noon in the Ivy.
Me,
a super model.
One day.
