I See

Torn between my two worlds,
Not knowing which I see,
It seems to be a dream until I see,
I see the colors of your face,
The colors of the rooms,
Drawing me closer until it's too late,
I'm trapped inside with no hope of escaping,
I see two doors haunting me,
Begging me to come closer to take a look,
One shows love, happiness, and truth,
While the other is masked under darkness,
Which door shall I seek,
The invigoratingly truthful door,
Or the one with a dark secret,
Which is the bigger feat,
I see myself turning a knob,
Not knowing what to expect,
Suddenly darkness swallows me from behind,
Like a lone star in the sky,
I feel helpless and unwanted,
Stumbling back through the door,
My illusion is gone so I see no more.
