Selfish and aweless// Taking every breath for granted
Sleepin around with no worries// Until your seed is planted

But things that aren't seen// Are the feelings they hold within
A broken heart without a home// Hiding behind a grin
Family secrets and problems// Have birthed a teen with thick skin
No one to talk to// So they keep quiet and take it on the chin

Dishonest and disgraceful// Uncaring of there actions
A Hurtful heart and shallow mind// Driven by outer attractions

But what hides behind the surface// Is a bitter heartless soul
Tainted throughout there life// Made to live without a goal
On the inside they feel alone// Feeling stuck within a whole
Cause no one at home cares// There household has no control

Hurtful little beasts// Blamed for societies corruption
They'll keep up this distruction// Until the worlds erruption

So we can keep this image alive// Or we can say whats true
We don't just start these things// We learn the things we do
This just shows that it's ok// To speak without a clue
We act this way without remorse// And see without a view

Society has taught us// That there is no way out
We are unneeded// So we live ourlives in doubt

We're taught that life is hopeless// In this place we are stuck
Maybe not with words// But by your actions we are struck
In this life we learn// That things don't come with luck
We try to fight// But no one gives a fuck

Yes we are selfish and aweless// Oh yes this is true
But with your words remember// We learned it all from you
