Kiss My Angel Goodbye

I kiss my fallan angel
But I’m the fallen one
I vowed to never be saved
But to loneliness I succumb

I lay within your arms
Burning with desire
But I must warn you duly
I possess the coldest fire

You keep me bitter warm
But don’t try to melt my heart
It is forever frozen
I have to warn you from the start

But I lay in your arms content
I can feel, I can touch, I can smile
I can sincerely crave your presence
And hope it lasts awhile

I mean every kiss we share
But on a deeper level I place my palisade
A pact made within myself
While I prayed upon the blade

Your voice rings with joyous tone
I’m happy in the bed you made
But I have a pact within myself
That no one can evade

In a lame attemt to save me
You will put me at a road
To decide between a life together
And leave my pact left sold

And I will be tempted
But take the road that leads home
Because as much as I enjoy your company
I was destined to abide alone
