An Urge

she's calling my name,
to late i dont notice,
she should have been there all along,
now she's regreting the words,
she so easily cursed,
and my spirit has left her alone,
i've put two and two together,
our love laughed at forever,
and now it sits on a heart made of stone,
and as it gets colder outside,
my vision runs blind,
and the whisper of screams slowly grows,
with my gasping last breath,
i apologized for the mess,
i never meant to ruin your life,
but when all you speak is your lies,
and the flames rise behind your eyes,
it makes it easier to leave you behind.
