My Little Buddy

When my son goes out to play, he gets very
muddy. But I just wash that dirt off, because
he's my little buddy.

I come home from work tired, and he just
wants to play. But sometimes for my buddy,
I'll go out anyway.

I hate it when he's angry, I hate it when
he's sad. So I try to make him smile, because
that's what makes me dad.

I try to teach him right from wrong, and do
the best he can. Some day he'll have his own
son, who might need a helping hand.

He's my little buddy, and he will always
shine. He's my little buddy, and I'm so
glad he's mine.
