Just relax
As the sand slips through your toes,
And the deep blue waves crash,
While your lying in his arms,
Knowing he loves you the best he can.

Just relax,
As the sun begins to rise,
And the smell of salt swims through the air,
While your lying alone,
Knowing you may have to let go.

Just relax,
As you begin to cry,
Remember all the memories that you've tried to forget,
While you sitting on the dock, in silence,
Knowing what went wrong.

Just relax,
As your heart beats in terror,
Trying to see your future accompanied by him,
While your face is pushed into the pillow crying,
Knowing it won't be okay.

Just relax,
As he walks towards you, in agony,
All the bruises start to ache,
While he enlightens me, he didnt mean it,
Knowing what you have to do.

Just relax,
As you explain you can't take the tantrums,
Your depressed eyes full of fear,
While he smacks your battered face,
Knowing he wont stop.

Just relax
As you stand up to him,
Fearless of his great power,
While you kick and scream for him to stop,
Knowing you will lose.

Just relax,
As you float into heaven,
Your soul running free,
While thinking of the pleasent times you've experienced,
Knowing he wasn't always so spiteful.

Just relax,
As you come to peace,
With all the mistakes you've made,
While watching from above,
Knowing he'll never change.
