But before I ever heard the words I love you
I know this will hurt us forever
But I wish we could be together
We said our goodbyes too late
And I was afraid we might hate
We tried our hardest to make it work
But how could we
We were too hurt
I love you the words I said
As the words came too early. I waited to see
Your reaction but I didn't get satisfaction.
I drew back the tears and I noticed you did too.
The next day went to school thinking I was such a fool.
Where I saw you stand up and say I love you.
