and they're singing
to carry you to
an enhanced place
in your mind.

Leave behind
your troubles
and listen to
the band
as it leads you
away from
the darkness
in your head.
It will lead you
to a garden
of light where
you can escape
the madness of
a world that is
finally long gone.

Sing along to the
band's tune
and dance all the
night long,
for you deserve a
break from the folly
of the day's
drudgery and work.

Now is the time
to forget all
your toil
and hardship
and enjoy
the sound
of the guitars
strumming
and the beat
of the drums.

So, let it rock
and let it roll
and find some
contentment
and joy for your
tired old soul;
for it's too short
a life to feel
unhappy
at the new day
dawning.
