Peace And Forgiveness

The poor man cries,
The people roar,
for justice that's forsaken.
The world's masses seek liberation,
throughout the many ages.

Wars are fought and men die
to win land and property,
but the only property they win
is the earth, their dead are buried.

The rights of man
and rightful ownership are reasons
for wars and destruction.
The leaders of nations ushering in
these wars are lacking sane discretion.

Though all these years
the battles were engaged,
the world seeks wisdom and knowledge.
Nature helps us perceive
that peace and forgiveness are the keys
to halt the bloodshed and carnage.
