I can feel my life
slipping thru the cracks
Im falling into a black hole
and as I fall I close my eyes
The sky is fiery red
my veins black with hate
crystalizing leaving sharp edges
cutting through my skin
ear piercing screams shatter the air
and my veins break apart
red liquid seeps from the cracks...
the screaming won't stop
it's hurting my head 'til I realize
that the only one screaming is me
my skin is burning
the pain is unbearable
the black crystals falling beside me
razors cutting across my flesh
the world begins to crumble
the red sky crashing down
im bruised and broken
and my heart is crying out
I open my eyes
look down at my skin
and I can feel the scars burning
my flesh itching to be torn
but then I hear a small voice
almost a whisper
it sings me to sleep
and my pain goes away
I slip into a dreamworld
and everything's okay
and for now I am happy
until I awake...
