Waves clash against a rocky tundra
as creeping, rolling thunders darken,
an undercurrent destine to capture
the stranded soul inside
a murky entrapment of pale, cold, longing.
A deep oak pairing provides
a pathway unto freedom from
the dangerous capacities of the mind.
