Staying Afloat

It’s disgusting how many ignore the way others feel.
When attraction lays upon them its far from real.
Or so they act when they shut out the soul.
The soul that just strives to become companioned.
In companionship with the person who shines of light.
The light brightens and guides a lover’s day.
Days in which happiness is fluent and smooth.
So smooth the violent ways of society seem elegant.
Elegant in the manner that worrying is unthinkable.
Its unthinkable to believe that such a person would hide.
But hide and resist in talking is what happens eventually.
Cause eventually their lover becomes less than understandable.
Less than understandable in the sense of extreme boredom.
Boredom of a single individual in which they plan to spend their life.
And their life is the force that bounds their companion’s strings together.
Bounding the strings that allow someone to stay afloat.
And to stay afloat in this rapidly sinking world is all there is left.
