I find a quiet moment, to seek myself, within,
I open heart, close my eyes, and and let my true self reign.
He comes as ever, slowly, but not through doubt, or blame,
Rather we two mesh as one, my mind, his heart, our pain.

Together we are wonder, each of different sides,
I am dark, he is light, and Heaven the divide.
I come now with my problems, and he comes with repose,
Together we form answers, to questions not yet known.

His beauty leaves me breathless, his compassion, not unknown,
As deep and dark as think I am, he sees clearly through my soul,
Our time as one now ending, my eyes unclosed again,
I thank the Lord for listening, look up, and say, Amen.
