Bright lights shimmering everywhere,
I see buildings that touch the Milky Way
I take a deep breath cold crisp air is all around me,
Snowflakes are falling they are captured by my eyelashes
Melting ever so quickly, just in time for me to see where we have stopped
The building over 90 years old, never so beautiful, I’m eager to get
inside.

Tickets are handed to the lady who smells of vanilla
We make our way through the incredible building
Oh’ the carvings, the paint, the imagination put into this takes my breath
away.
Red carpets, should be for the stars, yet I am here
So many bright faces, forever empowered by the majestic surroundings
Time to take our seats, lots of rows, I sit and wait with anticipation

The lights brighten, and the music is here, I just listen
The rhythm pours into my soul, sweet lyrics softy flowing
Different emotion in every hit of the drum
Slow, fast, I want more and more it’s beautiful
Taking time to breath they play on, each note right on queue
Such perfection, giving me feelings never felt before
Overwhelming talents never heard
Always bringing new life with every stroke of the strings
I shut my eyes and enjoy, nothing can compare to this
The feelings I get when hearing my favorite song
