The tear formed in her eyes
She curls up and wishes to die
The pain she feels completes
The emptiness of defeat
She'd run away but they'll find her
She'd kill herself but the demons would only feed better

-So alone she sits in the corner
Wishing that the world would only turn slower
Into the shadows she awaits
The day when she'll find heaven's gates
Opening themselves to her pain
Welcoming her to live again-

She's lost inside herself
The ability to breathe
She drowns herself in cocaine
And drinks to the emptiness
She feels each day
Sits and stares down the shadows in her room
Wants a way to leave
And escape the demons that haunt her dreams
But the pains too much
And the path's too dark
To mend her dying, broken heart

The tears are her only friends

The metallic taste of blood

She crumbles up and locks away
The hopes she had for sanity
The memories of her "family"
Rocks back and forth and cries
Singing her broken lullaby
