life's light

motionless stillful
unfortunately free
captured by no mind
as the world twirls
know not which way to go
or even the importance of where to be
for the worst of worlds
a life without existance
much more than meaning of itself
when even the thought of happiness
strikes the fear in hearts
of the pain that always seems to follow
and endless vicious cycle
and ring of defeat
one that all wear knowing what it is
yet hope and dreams
are the only reason
a light that never fails
fades so much
we lose sight of life
sight of all reasons
the meaning of existance
the light
to busy to fast
to focus
on the light so far
but at a moments grace when
the universe seems to rest
the pain of all these moments crash
the point in which the light
appears to be the brightest
and hope rises from ashes
showing the soul
the reason existance is so
