The falling autmn leaves
Lay upon her grave
As I trudge through the cemetary
It takes me back to that day

I see her face clearly
Though it has been years
And all the laughter we shared
Memories bring me tears

Her eyes of bright blue
Made my heart shine
And the time we were together
Everyday I thanked God she was mine

As I lay the card on her grave
I remember the face
The face of the man that took her away
I wish that it was me in her place

But now as the single tear hits the ground
I remember that she would want me to be strong
Live my life to the fullest
So I make that promise to her I will live on...
