Moon lays awake
a single spotlight
alone in the black night
grey silohuettes on the horizon
tears close as i fight
trying to keep myself inside
while everything goes to shit
outside
i lay awake
a single being
alone in the black night
my shadow consumed
by the absence of light
lacerations coming near
reminding me of all i fear
moon reflects upon my face
a piercing beam of cold light
ghastly illuminates my room
i cant see a foot in front of my face
yet i still feel this place
closing down around me
clamping like a frigid vice
squeezing out all of this life
moon keeps me awake
a single spotlight
and a single being
trapped inside the dead of night
trapped inside the death of night.....
