Honey Bee
So what does the writer write?
I guess another something like this:
Will it be a euphoric journey through the rainforest
attached to the tail of a daring dragonfly?
or will it be....
another recollection of you?
your collection?
your projection?
your confection?

the rejection?

You bring blood from deep below
the layers of skin
where I have to go
to get the goods
the fire woods
to warm my soul
make me whole
kill the cold
burn the mold
It's a random thought
like your silhouette
on the pillow
in the moonlight
(or maybe it was the streetlight)
ha! what a cockfight!
What a mess.
What a mess!
I have to confess I roll in my mess
I take sweet time to lay it down
and spread it thickly on the ground
then dive in
head first
and go to town
If nothing more
we got a good swim
but you got a little dirt
on your chin
It wasn't all my fault
did you think I'd let you win?
Ah, so now I see
the fate of my journey tonight
It was you who came knocking on my door
frustrating me a few moments before
I fought no more
I sought this book
in which I'll bore
these blood soaked words
escaping
from
my
Core
…………..
Why did you have to be such a whore?
Ouch.
I always knew how to make it sting
This honey bee has learned a bad thing
Too bad I leave my guts behind to cling.
