I walked through a graveyard
Of broken statues
All of them hinting your face
I ran recklessly past the crumbling figures
I tried to escape your stares
It seemed impossible
My eyes was spinning
And everywhere I turned
Your eyes were there to find mine again
Tears from our blackened eyes did soak the Earth
And the colors ran together
Our bodies merged into something so beautiful
Like ink from the letters of our wasted years
I felt you hold me one last time
Your hand lay on my face
And you closed your eyes
You whispered three forgotten words
And I felt you fall away from me again
The colors separated
All was in focus
I was spinning
and everywhere I turned
You were nowhere
I was spinning
And everywhere I turned
The statues did fall
Your face erased from stone
I was spinning
And I remember
That's when we finally said goodbye
