Ringing Phone

Not aggressive, nor possessive
I hide in my corner, alone.
Musscles stressed, knees to my chest
hiding from the ringing phone.

So scared, and unprepared
for what your voice might say.
Eyes wide, I just hide
as the phone rings away.
