Once fallen from grace
All confidence was lost
During these times of mourning
I saw through
And all I was told
Dimminshed somewhere
When the lights go out
You're all I see
And I cling to you til dawn
Then you drift away somewhere
Only to return
Bearing hopes and shallow promises
No security in a harsh world
And unsatisfied with what I have to offer
I see you moving on
And oh I wish,
But that is all it will ever amount to be...

*This is one of my poems that is more like rambling random thoughts than a
poem. I know it doesn't rhyme or anything, but it comes from my heart
