My heart and soul
wanted to speak
but my legs were
shaking & my lips
were weak
all I saw
were your eyes
then I remembered
I was living a lie
but that didn’t keep me from wanting you
your eyes where like
icebergs so blue
then you spoke
so calm and sweet
I knew there was
nothing to keep
me away
till you said
you had to go that day
for when you told me
my heart sank
and my mind was blank
then you were gone
with a blink
oh god I never
got to tell you how I felt
I never got to speak
I told everyone you
would be back
they wait in see
for with out you
I would never be happy
days went by and so did weeks
why didn’t I yell it
why didn’t I speak
even though your gone
and your not really there
