Stark serenity,
A hazy gray blanket covering the sky,
Crisp breeze cooling my moistened skin dry.
Birds awakening, beginning all life
Calling out to find a new friend,
Time stands making a new beginning out of an old end.
Colors blend and stretch,
They push away the sky of dust,
Fresh ground crunches, the night’s cold crust

Creeping slowly, beauty takes over
Heat rises, brushing away the frost
The sun peeks over the horizon, and all night is lost,
Shadows form on the ground
As constant reminders of the night
The moon escapes from the sky quickly, almost out of fright
Orange rays invading the sky,
A lonely sparrow sings out from the right,
Hoping it will find a lover long lost over night
The burning ball continues to climb
And from the left, a farmiliar song is cried out,
The happy chorus continues with no caution or doubt.

The sun and moon happily dance around the sky,
Birds chirp joyfully with love,
And the clouds flirt in glory from above.
Love bubbles around me,
And I sit alone in the beauty of it all,
Wishing I had someone that would call.
My eyes break away from the rising sun,
Looking around to see if the nigh found someone for me,
But still I sit alone, my body swinging lonely.
There is no darkness left in sight,
It is the end, its over time to go home,
I wish I wasn’t the only one that’s alone…
