Sometimes, when people have enough will,
They change around their life,
They always seem to know the drill,
And are able to get away from the strife,
For others this change is hard,
How can you turn over a new leaf?
Or play a new card?
Was their first life so full of grief?
Some just did not like who they were,
So they would change to fix their bad parts,
To a person they prefer,
But would this change go to their hearts?
Then there are the few,
Who can change completely,
Their new selves fine pure and true,
Their change was done oh so neatly,
Which one are you, if any,
Maybe you like who you are,
Even though your faults may be plenty,
You like that you are a little bizarre,
For me I new I had to change,
To make it so people liked me more,
Even if it felt strange,
I did not want to act like I had before,
But in the end should it matter?
Should people like you more for who you are or who you were?
Was your whole life meant to shatter?
Or is something else supposed to occur?
