Crazy as we are
I believe but you have trouble
Conceiving what I whisper in
I spell it out for you, child
But you refuse to believe
I think you're afraid to believe

Because I'll spin, I'll spin
I'll take in things already there
While you sit and try and deny
What's lying right before you
And spinning on the ground, I'll look
Into your eyes and I'll assure you
That I'll willingly live my life
Wondering if it might be a dream

And crazy as I am
I spin around all over here
And the lights all spin too
And I see, I hear, I touch, I feel
I believe but do you get this:
I never, never know if it's real

Because I'll spin, I'll spin
I'll take in things already there
While you sit and try and deny
What's lying right before you
And spinning on the ground, I'll look
Into your eyes and I'll assure you
That I'll willingly live my life
Wondering if it might be a dream

And as crazy as you are
You watch me spinning in my place
With mild amusement; maybe i'm a child
And one day you'll stare in bewilderment
As I can see past all the fake
And you'll see it's been here all along

Because I'll spin, I'll spin
I'll take in things already there
While you sit and try and deny
What's lying right before you
And spinning on the ground, I'll look
Into your eyes and I'll assure you
That I'll willingly live my life
Wondering if it might be a dream.
