The Window

She sits looking at the window.
Into the window.
Looking for the answers to her questions.
She has so many.
Unrelated.
Some serious, some school-girl.
What will she do?
She thinks about her questions.
Is he the one?
What will I do as a career?
Does he love me?
Does she love me?
Is there a heaven or hell?
Do I have an angel watching over me?
Am I pretty? Fat? Ugly?
What about death?
When will I die?
And how?
As she ponders these questions
Her window listends and offers answers
Yes he is
Be you
Yes he loves you
So does she
You have to believe
Yes, always.
Yes, no, no.
Its for you to discover.
No one knows
Sleeping
The window talks to her and says "Go to sleep dear."
"What about tomorrow?" she asks.
"In my last word of advice, listen.
It's important and true.
"Hold it dear and always live by it."
His advice?
Live today as if its your last.
But be ready for tomorrow.
Nothing else matters.
And as she lives by those words
She finds life is always easier
If you don't always question it.
Live it simple, don't think to much.
The window never spoke again.
