SIN

Beneath the veils that shadowed your eyes

I saw the truth unfold;

Upon your bleeding grimace shown

A story not yet told;

My soul cried for your vindication

So that someone, somewhere would know;

The story of two lovers

That was ended so long ago;

Our hands held tight for an eternity

As the lining of the of the sun shown aglow;

Our reflections shimmered in the distant stream

As I pleaded for you not to go;

Alas, his ardency for me was to great

So from myself he did depart;

He whispered, "never forget, my love."

But it was death in my soul and my heart;

Could my heart be whole without you?

I pondered wharily one Autumn day;

Without you, my dearest truest love

Somewhere, out there, so far away?;

So journeyed I, 'till I found a way

For our immortal lives to begin;

Now together forever, we'll be as one

In love, and perpetual sin.
