this melancholy life
you made it all change
the weakness in your eyes
make me tremble with fear
yet make me realize
you repaired my tears
the sky of gray and red
the sunset turns the colors
our hearts that have bled
we hold on to each other
the clouds swallow the stars
they seem so near
yet in reality are far
your love seems only mere
the rain falls heavily down
it punctures through the atmosphere
it explodes as it hits the ground
i think of you and hold these tears

you turn away in fear
