Midnight Television

Here in the darkness of my livingroom,
I lay on the floor, in a state I repeatedly resume
The light of the television burns in my eyes
I can no longer love, no longer dispise
Midnight shows are forever longing
To be know as those belonging
Happy Days and Three's Company fade into the night
....What if they are really right?
And can take me into their world of bitter fun,
Into the t.v land we know and love
Take me away..slap me with the fiction I wish was true
For you know I really love you
