No one really knows me
And I've thought of who I am
Of who each single person is
The art to every man
What body do I talk with
Tis just prison 'round the bones
And bones to be the prison guard
Protecting inner homes
The heart, it has no meaning
But a pump to keep alive
But we trust "it" for decisions
We find "truth" in people's eyes
Love is not as animate
As one might make it seem
You love the skin stretched round these bones
And my tragic self esteem
Do you love me for my beauty
Or for how I seem with you
For that, what is my beauty
But the thoughts I willingly use
There is not but my actions
That a lover should adore
Alas, when vision changes
They love "you" so much more
I believe in loving someone
For how their beauty shines
I speak about the innermost-
The complexity of minds
I love the things you want to do
Decisions that you make
I love the words your mind spills out
When your conscious and awake
I love the way it feeds you
To make me feel so high
I love the way it tells you
How to trust me with your life
I love you for your very mind
‘Tis a reason I won't hide
There needs not a perfect figure
I need not ramble 'bout your eyes
I've found out what creates us
For looks will always fade
But your brain, such perfect impulses
Enlight my every day
If I not love you for all this
I love you for your skin
Then love is but eye-candy
Shunning raw beauty within
Now what is left to helpless "hearts"
True lovings reminisce
Divorce, abuse, and broken homes
A children-plaguing bliss
Entice me with your fingertips
-Your pictures on my wall
I stare and stare like "knowing" you
Awaiting my downfall
Love the shell, this random frame
Then true love bears no art
The mind: impaired, so we must swear
This love comes from my "Heart"
