Drudging through an endless hopeless set of frets,
I sensed a heat upon my face.
A heat so familiar & kind,
only a love could break through this tough façade of mine.
I lifted mine eyes only to meet your gaze.
The love you had sent down,
Like rays of golden light fell upon my heart with great steed.
It is only in that, that I am everything I wish to be.
All that I wish to accomplish is in the cozy haven of your gaze.
I am phenomenal in & through you.
Solitaire & incomplete I undergo in this existence of mine.
Competing in the races of incompetence & failure,
You appear with this vision of steadfast success.
Not a sole vision, but a union of one.
An enduring union that triumphs over this inadequacy contest.
Strength is our foundation
