I stand here facing you
trying ti figure what you
really were
All these images float
inside my head
All the things you said
I heard
You always pretended to be
what I always hated
I still feel used
and hoping I was still wrong
I can't let go
because you keep surfacing
and everytime I try to go
you hld me back
giving me new hope
Hope, that won't last
and fear won't settle
Trust and you
cannot go together
So just leave me behind
so that I can regain
my thoughts
and resume my life
that I had long lost
