Darkness surrounds me
Carrying me back to my closet
Where I feel so alone
Hiding what’s within
Showing only what is shown
Things turning upside down
Insides turning out
Light fading to dark
Darkness has seemed to fall over
What was once such a bright light
Smothering its endless flame
Pain seems to be felt no more
I hurt myself
Don’t know what to do
Tucking it far away
So no one can see
What Darkness
Truly lies deep inside of me
