From the Depths of the Valley of Darkness
Light appeared & Faith emerged unaltered.
With Conviction, Trust had been called forth
Unnoticed by it’s rival, Love Awakened.
Belief then so struggled as
Fantasized Events Appeared Real.
Atonement paved the way for Hope to gleam bright
Doubt & Denial, the deadly brothers, had no foothold here.
Codependency had wrapped itself in Isolation.
Strength followed by Courage embedded and took root.
The cycle of Abuse & Denial was completed.
Abandonment was comforted by Autonomy.
Gratitude was transferred between Manipulation and Preservation.
The Choice was declared
The Creator smiled upon It’s Creation
Thus, it became the Dawning of Sobriety.
