I close my eyes to see your face
you look like you usually do
t-shirt, blue jeans, a baseball cap

we walk hand in hand
along the beach
we put or feet in the cool ocean water
you wisper in my ear a mumble

I look over at you to see a stranger
it wasn't you

I wake up to see that same stranger in my bed next to me
