making love

i remember our afternoon
as if it were yesterday
i left knowing you had my heart
we drove to your house and you held my hand
reminding me of how you used to be my man
i sat on your couch, nervous as hell
i was like an innocent little girl and you could tell
you were gentle as you kissed my lips
you sat in front of me and ran your hands across my hips
you pulled me close, and i knew it was right
these feelings neither one of su could fight
we moved to your bed
i would go anywhere you lead
i knew i loved you then
as much as i do now
i laid next to you
my head upon your chest
it was hot so you began to undress
i was embarassed of my body
i tried not to let you see
but you kissed my stomach and told me you loved me
i didn't wanna leave
our perfect world together
i let you slip up my dress
and you gently caressed
you played with my hair
and whispered in my ear
"i'll never leave you"
at the moment i wished it was true
your naked body laid against mine
and i could feel you breathe
i could even feel your heartbeat against me
i feel our connection
as you entered inside of me
i wrapped my legs around you
and you pushed deeper into
i felt my nails run across your back
and for one second my life was on track
i didn't care that you had my innocence
i loved every minute of it
i laid with you after we were done
hoping you didn't fine me a mistake
it was something you could retake
i loved you
i still love you
i wish i cold go back to when it were true
when you were in love with me too
it wasn't sex between us
making love was enough.
