like I’ve been waiting a lifetime for,

These endless nights of pain hurt so much
To feel your gentle touch just once would leave me in ecstasy for all
eternity
The way you make me feel,
It’s unreal- I can’t heal this pain you’ve caused
I fear my dreams and how one day they won’t come true
Because to you I’m nothing- a nobody who loves you
I’m always going to live in painful loneliness so
why should I dare to let you hear the things I hide within
And open up my heart and start something that won’t begin
I know the sleepless nights and all the sad and lonely tears, being with you
I would have no fears
In my sleep I will dream of you
Because at night dreams always come true
Oh to be with you, that would be great,
I can’t wait until it’s late enough to dream
