He sat alone in his dirty clothes.
He hid in the darkness,
Too ashamed of his clothes to play.
He sat alone in his room.
He hid in the darkness,
Too scared of his parents to leave.
He sat alone at the lunch table.
He hid in the darkness,
Too afraid of his bullies to look up.
He stood, bloody in front of the classroom.
They'll be in darkness forever.
Never again to speak.
