The world turns its back to you
Shrugging off your existence
Looking down to your followers
Shaking their heads while we speak

One day we will leave them
As we soar threw the heavens with you
Leaving them behind
In the fires of the tribulation
Dieing away they will wish they found you
But they will have to wait

Still they turn their back
But their day will come
When they must bow before you
When they must make a choice
Love or Hate?

Your love will always be there
Carrying us through life’s troubles
Healing our wounds
Forgiving us of our sins

They may pity us
But we will always love you
Always believe in your existence
Always know you’re there
The one and only
