My tears and blood mix together.
I wish to lie in a pool of this mixture, it would bring me happiness.
The coppery taste of my blood taints the saltiness of my tears.
Slowly the mixed droplets pass over my lips.
Some find their way to my tongue, making me taste as well as feel the pain.
I rake my nails over the open wounds on my wrist.
More crimson liquid escapes through these gashes.
Smearing my hands over my quickly paling cheeks,
Sobs of anguish and hurt erupt from my throat.
Strength flees from my body as if it and my life force were castaway
lovers,
Wanting to escape their prison of bones and flesh.
My scarlet life force and my watery devotions of pain pool at my feet.
Another tremor of pain claws its way through my weak body.
I hear my dying carcass hitting the ground with a sickening crash,
Diluted crimson splash up around my fleshy mass.
The last droplets of scarlet life leave me.
Here I lie in a pool of my blood and tears.
