As I walk this barren road
I ignore the screams around me
I ignore the and love and
And all those who are happy

I cannot see the smiles
I cannot hear the crying
On this road of endless tears,
endless suffering and dying

I feel alone and cannot tell
When people say my name
I keep on walking and never stop
Not knowing for what I came

I cannot see the light
By my friends and family
They start to cry but I can't hear
In this endless purgatory

The light begins to grow ever brighter
But it blinds me ever more
But now I see it comes from flames
Not my friends like before

Purgatory changes to hell
It starts to kill my mind
I feel like no one hears my screams
And there's nothing for me to find

I feel like giving up
In this world of eternal flame
There's fire all around me
And everything's the same

There's nothing left to do
Now that I've met the end of the line
So I'm going to stop now
And just lay down and die
