They took a walk by the water
Held hands for the first time
They had no idea what they would see
A happy face such as mine
They saw me up the tree
They didn't know what to say
I didn't meen to intrude
On their happy, lovefilled day
They attempted to get me down
I was to stubborn to get off the branch
I wanted them to be on their way
Back to their romance
The girl started crying
Grabbed her boi friend's coat
He rapped his arms around her
Said to keep her eyes closed
They didn't understand
Didn't know my struggles or stife
That's why I wanted to stay on the tree
The tree that took my life
