Hello Mr. Weinstock
how are you today?
You look good, how is your family?
I didn't notice you there
standing among the cold cuts
its been awhile.
Tell me, how have you been?

Hello Mr. Weinstock
things are bad today.
Did you hear, we can't ride our bikes at night
and they turned me away from the pool
did they do that to you too?
I saw your store
and the smashed glass shining like so many tears
things are bad today.

Hello Mr. Weinstock
where is your wife and children?
i saw them with you just a few minutes ago
but its hard to tell who all these people are
among the shaved heads
and naked, frightened bodies.
where are they Mr. Weinstock?
how did you let them go?

hello Mr. Weinstock
how are you today?
we haven't spoken in awhile
you never leave your house.
I hear crying next door everday
you have terrible nightmares, don't you?
Hello Mr. Weinstock
we all have nightmares now.
