The Real Me

Scared to know the truth,
scared to hear the lies.
Not knowing what people see,
when they look into my eyes.
Afraid of what they think,
and afraid of what they say.
I hear my name in the crowd,
almost everysingle day.
They think they know it all,
and talk like they know my past,
when really all they hear is lies,
I'm just someone wearing a mask.
No one knows the real me,
'cus actions are louder than words.
All I can do right now,
is let my soul take its turn.
When I figure out who I am,
maybe they will all see,
that the party girl with no morals,
isn't truely the real me.
